Stanley Kubec, age 82 of Carlton died on Tuesday, May 17, 2022 at home. He was born on February 1, 1940 in Kewaunee to the late Stanley and Bessie (Hajek) Kubec.
He graduated from Kewaunee High School with the class of 1958. He married Gail Collins on October 3, 1959.
Stan operated a charter fishing service out of Kewaunee for thirty years from 1970 to 2000. He also operated an auto body shop and recreational vehicle repair shop from 1975 until retiring 2015.
He and Gail enjoyed snowmobiling and camping. They went to Hodag for thirty-five years and traveling to Europe, Mexico, Dominum Republic and Caribbean Cruises.
Survivors include Gail his wife of sixty-two years; three sons and two daughters-in-law: Chuck and Tonya, Kewaunee; John and Julie, Manitowoc; Doug and Kelly, Manitowoc; five grandchildren: Marcus (Lisa), Michael, Brianna (Fiancé Kris), Ryan, Nicole (Andy); five great grandchildren: Kyler, Emma, Mason, Finnley, Fionna; a sister Jean (Dick) Lambert, Suamico.
He was preceded in death by a son: William; brother Don; mother-in-law and father-in-law: Charles and Ruth Collins.
Friends may call after 9:30 a.m. on Friday, May 27 at St. Isadore the Farmer Church in Tisch Mills until the time of services. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. by Fr. Dennis Drury assisted by Christal Wavrunek, Pastoral Minister.
